Religion
Curriculum
Through
the study of the Catholic faith and the Gospel message,
GMCS students celebrate God's love, develop a personal
relationship with the Lord, and become active members
of the Catholic community. Our students learn Catholic
doctrine, prayer, and traditions through Liturgy,
Scripture, study, retreats, and service

Service
Learning
to serve God through serving others is an important
part of life in the Greater Muskegon Catholic Schools.
Elementary school students begin with the "Learning
to Give" project and with classroom and school
service projects in support of local and global social
justice issues such as St. Jude's Children's Hospital,
the Salvation Army, Love, Inc. and the Rainforest
Action Network. High school students serve their school,
parishes, and community agencies through their religion
classes. In addition, sophomores complete 40 hours
of service as part of their graduation requirements.
