Greater Muskegon Catholic Schools

The gala Rainbow Auction in April raises over $150,000 annually for the GMCS with a dinner, raffles, silent auction booths, and a 100-item oral auction. Items range from cars and vacations to performances by student groups and famous home-cooked dinners.

The MCC Crusader Open Golf Tournament is held annually on the first Friday of August. Come enjoy the fun!

Morse Challenge Grant
The Foundation announces the largest matching gift challenge in its history. James and Leah Rae Morse have offered to match up to five million dollars of gifts to the Muskegon County Catholic Education Foundation during the next five years, starting May 1, 2007. The offer also marks one of the largest philanthropic gifts in the history of Muskegon County.

The Foundation grants over $800,000 per year to support the school system. Contributions are accepted by cash, check, credit card, or stock. The MCCEF office is located on the GMCS Laketon Campus.

Our mission is to ensure that all families in the greater Muskegon area have the opportunity for a quality Catholic education. Our goal is to build a network of strong financial and community support, including a well-invested and managed endowment plus other appropriate fundraising activities, to ensure that the tradition of quality Catholic education in greater Muskegon continues.
