Tuition
Tuition
rates for the Greater Muskegon Catholic Schools vary according
to a number of conditions: the number of children a family
has in the school system, whether a family is a member of
a GMCS corporate parish or a non-corporate parish, or is
not a member of a Catholic parish at all. Contact the GMCS Business Office or any school office for a complete tuition schedule.
A monthly payment option is available.

Financial
Aid
Scholarships
for the GMCS are too numerous to list, but are well worth
checking into. Scholarship opportunities include MCCEF scholarships,
parish scholarships, new student scholarships, and Diocesan
scholarships. The primary distributor of financial aid is
the Muskegon County Catholic Education Foundation which
contributes over $200,000 in tuition aid per year to students
attending Greater Muskegon Catholic Schools. Contact the
GMCS Business Office
by calling 231.755.1980 x340 for more information.

Fundraising
Because the
tuition pays for only 50-55% of the actual cost of educating a
student, successful fundraising is very important to the GMCS.
Major fund-raising activities such as the Calendar Drive and the
Rainbow Auction supply essential income for the general operating
budget. In addition, individual schools within the GMCS conduct
yearly fund-raisers, and family associations, clubs, and athletic
teams conduct regular fundraising events such as concerts, steak
fries, fish fries, book sales, yard sales, and flower sales.
