GMCS Graduation Attire info

Due to false rumors being spread about GMCS graduation attire, the following information is being provided:

GMCS High School Principals have the discretion on how graduation ceremonies are conducted at their schools. Caps and Gowns are worn by graduating students during all GMCS graduation ceremonies. Principals have the discretion on whether the graduating students are allowed to cover/decorate caps and gowns during the graduation ceremony. GMCS graduating students are not restricted from wearing what they choose to wear under their cap and gown or on any other exposed part of their body. This has been the practice for GMCS graduations for decades and no new changes have been made to this protocol.
