THE THE STANDARD RESPONSE PROTOCOL & STANDARD REUNIFICATION METHOD Full-Day Train the Trainer Workshop An Advanced Introduction to the Standard Response Protocol and the Standard Reunification Method ABOUT THE STANDARD RESPONSE PROTOCOL AND STANDARD REUNIFICATION METHOD The Standard Response Protocol (SP) and Standard Reunification Method (SRM) are used for crisis response and post-crisis reunification in more than 50,000 schools, districts, departments, agencies, organizations and communities around the world. ABOUT THE SEMINAR The Full Day Train the Trainer Workshop introduces participants to the history, concepts and functionality of the SRP and SRM and how to train the programs internally. Participants will walk away from the workshop with a deep understanding of how the SRP provides a proven, action-based enhancement to all-hazards school safety planning. After learning about the five actions of the SRP, and their associated directives, participants will be able to implement the program and enhance the safety plans of their school district. Additionally, participants will gain an understanding of the proven methods for planning, practicing and achieving a successful reunification using the SRM. They will leave the workshop with the ability to organize a reunification team in their school/district and create an effective reunification plan. Miyamura High School hosted its School of Health Showcase today! There were a variety of projects on subjects such as mental health, nutrition, substance abuse, and disease prevention. We're very proud of our students for their preparation and insightful presentations. The future is bright for our students who are working on being the next generation of healthcare professionals.


Miyamura will be having its School of Business Showcase tomorrow, 5/8, starting at 10:00 am, and its School of Media Showcase starting at 12:30 pm.

Greetings Patriots! This is a reminder that our dress code policy is in effect and will be strictly enforced. Students must wear professional attire at all times. This includes jeans or khakis, skirts and dresses at fingertip length, and shirts that fully cover the stomach.

Not allowed: tank tops, spaghetti straps, revealing clothing, hats, hoodies, or beanies.

From now until May 1, dress code violations will result in a one-day in-school suspension. After May 1, violations will result in a one-day out-of-school suspension.

Celebrating Our GMCS HOSA Champions!
Gallup-McKinley County Schools proudly congratulates students from McKinley Academy, Crownpoint High School, and Miyamura High School for their outstanding performance at the New Mexico HOSA State Leadership Conference, held in Albuquerque from April 9–11, 2026.
Students from our HOSA – Future Health Professionals chapters competed in a wide range of healthcare-related events, demonstrating their knowledge, technical skills, and leadership. Several students earned top placements and qualified to represent New Mexico at the 2026 HOSA International Leadership Conference, which will take place June 17–20, 2026 in Indianapolis.

Attention parents and guardians of our graduating seniors!
Each year, Gallup-McKinley County Schools creates a special Senior Edition magazine that is mailed to our graduates as a lasting keepsake. This edition features individual senior photos along with highlights from graduation.
📸 We need your help!
Please send in your student’s senior picture so they can be included in this special publication.
While we do receive some photos from school photographers, we would love to include as many submitted photos as possible so every senior is represented. Students without a submitted photo will still be listed, but we truly want to showcase each of our graduates.

Send them to Public_Relations@gmcs.org. Don't forget to tell us your student's name and the school they attend. Please have your submissions in by MAY 8TH.
